About The Webmaster
Hey! Im Loofa, also known as @wearefarmersdu or just Loof. This site is made to be able to just fully express myself without being scared. As a highschooler, I have to kinda fit in (tho I mostly don't lol) Speaking of that, i should probably get into the self-expression part.
Firstly, I am a furry, with my main Furosna being Kestrel (the one you see on the front page). But I also have several others in the OC section! My three main sonas are Kestrel, Ocelot, and Smartie. I have a paper fursuit head of Kestrel, as well as a mask. I've had all three of them for well over a year now, and their lore is just as bad as it started (working on it :p). Most of my other OCs are in [Placeholder]: my main worldbuilding project. I'd love to yap about it, but that will be saved for [Placeholder]'s future page!
I want to be an aeronautical engineer, so I'm working toward my Fusion 360 certification, and hope to attend UF! I've always enjoyed creating things (ex: my art), and I love aviation, math, and science. And honestly, I just want to make a world, even slightly, a better place with the skills I have. I've palayed trombone for 2 years, and starting 2025, I switched to bass trombone! I love my bass trombone, even if it falls apart half the time I put a mute in, and I love band as a whole. Marching band has significantly changed my life, even if it was for only 1 season so far.
So yeah, I'm a silly guy who loves being myself in this chaotic site held together by the magic of cosmic energy and duct tape :3 Thx for reading this !!!!
Why make a website?
I am too young to have experienced the glory days of the internet, and I want to recreate what It might've been like. The current state of the internet is not one that is sustainable (blockchain, crypto, AI). AI content is probably one of the worst things that humanity has come up with this century; it is destroying careers, critical thinking skills, and nearly every system it has been intergrated into. I want to remain creative. I want to be able to think for myself in an era where skills like that are diminishing rapidly. Maybe I'm looking through rose-colored lenses, but the older days of the internet that I can remember felt so free; you could do anything, be anybody, make friends across the world, and never even attach your real life to it. The internet used to be a seperate place, now its being treated like the real world more than the actual one is.
In short; The modern internet is problematic, and I want to create a place that recreates the time when the internet felt like magic -like the future- instead of this modern day dystopia.
