Figuring out my theriotype -12/20/25
So I have been a Therian for nearly one year. I do quads, wear gear, and rarely shift. I usually experience phantom shifts, and have experienced a few mental shifts, but not many. I have also been a cat in my dreams before. I had always identified as a Maine coon Therian due to the features I experienced while I was in a phantom shift. I felt a fluffy tail, decently long fur, and many feline aspects that would fall under the Maine coon (or other fluffy cat) category. However, I have experienced things that would like me closer to a bobcat.
So storytime :D. When I was on the train back from the Grand Canyon, there were these pine forests that had desert-y underbrush; I felt very drawn to it. Even through I was reading a book, my mind fixated on the forest in a way that I had never felt before or since. I kind of forgot about the experience until recently. I did some research and learned that two species fit the requirements of being a cat and living in northern Arizona: the Cougar, and Bobcat. The cougar didn’t fit in with what I experience; it was too large and monochromatic. The bobcat had fit with every category, and whenever I look at pics of them, I feel kinda weird. I feel like I have a slightly longer tail than an average bobcat, but other than that, its perfect.
So.. I guess that means that either I’m crazy (I was crazy once), or a bobcat therian!! I kinda have a tail that works color-wise, but I prefer wearing longer ones due to them being sillier :3
(sorry if any of this makes me sound like I chose my theriotype —I am a very logical person and this is how I deal with emotions because I’m weird like that. I did not choose my theriotype!!)
The weekend before midterms -12/12/25 5:07pm
Next week is midterms, which is awesome (not). Im procastionating working on my study guides so thats why Im suddenly redoing my ENTIRE website yippeee!!! I honestly like this a lot more than whatever i was cooking up before. I've had a lot of art motivation lately so i did 5 sketchbook pages in like 3 days. that hasnt happened since like 7th grade how???
We had a pep ralley today which was kinda fun but also wore me out like nothing marching related has. not good because I have a parade sunday and have to use my phone lyre. Its like a regular lyre but you put your phone in it its annoying and ways like 400 lbs. The route is at least a mile long so yay me..
Sooo... you might be wondering what im procastionating anyway?? no?? too bad. I have, in order, Algebra 2, World History, Bio, Art, English, and Engineering. If youre wondering "wheres the last one???" It's actually band and i dont have to do it. also my band is 1st period. I hate my science teacher i hate my science teacher. randoms reupload Technoblade vides (rip) to spotify so ive been listening to them. Same with BenOfTheWeek but its actually him uploading. Loovex's / Gum Disease's new album is good. ok idk how to end this so goodbye. (i still wont be studying)
FFCC and end of marching season -11/17/25 10:09am
My first season of marching band is now over. not exactly sure what i am meant to feel rn. Im glad that i actually have the full week to myself, but i have enjoyed all of the expereinces it has given me. its gonna be a big change for my life; 6 months of hard work is about to end. i can focus on concert band, school, my friends, and my mental health a lot more. though i have enjoyed it, it has given me several annoying pains and mental fog :(
Our final score for FFCC was 91.78, the highest in out band's history. We placed 6th overall and 4th the 5a category. to be fair, the scores were insanely high like what the hell do u mean you got a 96 ts is not DCI. They actually announced the wrong show AND wrong drum majors during prelims which was rly funny. The day beofre (friday) we traveled to the Villages (~3hr drive) and practiced in a random park for 6 hours. we went to our hotel and slept until about 8am, went to the comp, and got back at around 11:30pm. not bad compared to last weekend when it was like 4am.
Yesterday we went to Universal from 9am-5pm. I went on the Mummy and Hagrids, but i was too tired to go on Velocicoaster and Popeyes. I bought some stuff and we got home at around 9pm. I was so tired though because we had to get up at 7am in the fricking morning ts pmo. I went to bed immediatly once i got home so i woke up today at 8am. I am NOT at school today but i think u know why now.
Overall it was a really fun but exhasting weekend that I don't want to forge :3

Hi I'm really tired because of FMBC I got to my hotel at 1am today and got up at 9 so not a bad amount of sleep but im just exhausted. We got runner up with a score of 89.6 which is rly good for the first time ever as a 5a. it was a state championship and we have one like next weekend. I'm going to write random stuff here periodically so now is a great time to add my button #notsponsored. that was rly unfunny sryl also holy shit hermitcraft season 11 started ive bean watching since season 6.
